![]() I'm considering moving over to a Windows 10 machine, after 10 years of being a Macbook user. : ).Īpple, do you have an ETA for when you expect to have updated LG drivers built into the OS or if you have a patch that I can apply? For now, I had to create to separate virtual displays, using my DisplayPort and Thunderbolt cables. I was also told to try Catalina 10.15.5 Beta to see if that solved the problem and it didn't. ![]() I've validated that a Windows 10 laptop can drive the 49" display at max resolution, no problem. I understand that Dell, Samsung and LG 49" displays all have the same issue and they say that it is an Apple Macbook Pro problem. ![]() I also ended up purchasing a CalDigit TS3+ Thunderbolt Station and still can't get it to support 5120x1440 on a single display. I've tried the Thunderbolt 3 cable direct to the display, a DisplayPort cable direct to the display. My Macbook has the Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB and is listed to support up to 5120x2880. I have the MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) and purchased the LG 49WL95C-W 49-Inch Curved 32: 9 Ultrawide display, based on the specs listed by Apple.
